Our veterinarians diagnose your pet’s condition by performing a variety of diagnostic tests like BW evaluations, chest x-rays, EKG, Doppler blood pressure readings, and echocardiograms. These tests help our veterinarians diagnose the presence of an underlying heart problem, and helps them assess the severity of their condition.

Depending on the severity of your pet’s heart condition, our veterinarians will offer a number of treatment options such as diet changes, lifestyle changes, and a customized prescription medication protocol tailored to your pet’s specific needs. We also have the ability to utilize “Telemedicine” at Animal Medical Center, which allows our veterinarians to send your pets digital X-rays, echocardiogram study, or EKG to a boarded cardiologist within hours to aid in the formulation of a treatment plan.
