At Animal Medical Center, your pet’s health and well-being is the only thing that matters — and our veterinarians take pride in the fact that they take the most effective and compassionate approach to saving your pet.
Surgical procedures can often be part of your pet’s general wellness care—from routine spay and neuter procedures, to ACL repairs once your pet has reached their senior years. At AMC, you can rest assured that your pet is in the safest hands in our state-of-the-art surgical suite, stocked with the latest, most up-to-date equipment to ensure your pet is on their way to recovery.
In the event that your pet requires surgery, our veterinarians will walk you through the surgical procedure and expected recovery time. At this point, you are more than welcomed to speak with the veterinarian about any questions or concerns you may have regarding the surgery, or to discuss the option of exploring other solutions.
Prior to the surgery, our capable staff will conduct a thorough examination to ensure that your pet has all of the blood-work and testing necessary for a successful surgery, and to ensure that they are a safe candidate for general anesthesia.
